Default Toledo Bend April 16-18 2005

Got home from Africa late Friday night and the wife suprised me with all the bags packed for a trip to the bend. Got there saturday morning and fished saturday and sunday and came home monday. The sac-a-lait have not yet spawned around the shadow's landing area as every fish was full of eggs. Caught 27 nice ones ranging from 12-17 inches. One went over 2.5 lbs. Definatly the biggest one I have ever caught. All the fish were over brush piles in 15-20 ft of water fishing about 8-10 ft deep.

If someone can tell me how to resize the pictures I will post them. It is telling me that it is too big.

Basinfisher --my brother just got in from Africa working for Global and will be leaving for China soon. Do you find its worth it? I traveled while in the army and promised myself I would never leave the good ole USA again. My brother hates it but I guess the cash is good. beaux

Welcome back, basinfisher......got just what you need to resize pics. Go to:

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

Scroll down and look on the right side for "image resizer" and download it. It's a small download, requires very little space, and cannot be easier. Once loaded all you have to do is rt. click on the pic and choose "resize pictures", then select "advanced" and click on the dot left of "custom." For pics using the attatchment method, enter "440 X 330" and it will be the right size. If you use the URL method there are no size restrictions, and "700 X 525" just fits the forum page on crappie.com. Too easy! Let's see the photos....... :D

PS.....if you use the URL method, you will need to resize the pic before you post it on the net.

I have added the pictures. The pictures really don't do them justice. The five on the bottom all go over 1.75 lbs. The center on is over 2.5lbs. The boards on the table are 2x6's. Like I said, I had 27 but 10 got eaten ate the camp Sunday night. Thanks for the help with the pictures LABILL.

    Steve,
David and Bret will leave Friday am to meet ya"ll over there.
I will be there around 10:30 or 11 pm Friday. (Got a wedding to do)
Do you think Doyle will bring his TB maps? They might come in handy.
Keep a chair open for me at the card table! And when I walk through the card-room door the next card dealt is WILD! (LOL)
I can't leave now; They fixen to turn on.
