    Default Saline Report

Well the fishing is definately slowed with the spawn winding down. The catfish have moved up. We caught 25 on Saturday in Saline. 13 white perch and 12 catfish. 4 of the white perch were slabs. it's just not what it was or maybe they're biting jigs, lol. I don't know maybe another wave of the spawn will come in, if that's possible. If not guess they'll go back deep or on the stage. Good luck to everyone this weekend.

I finally had a chance to go to my camp on crossbayou sunday evening. I did fish for about two hours. The fish are very scattered and mostly males are being caught. I caught only five fish. Shallow and on minners. BUT I did see soem guys I know and they had a 120 QT ice chest of BIG bream and chinquepin. Caught them on cool worms and it was around the grass in shad lake. Maybe in a couple weeks I can go and spend more than a few hours at the camp and bring back some more accurate info.. :D

The water temperature was about 77 degrees and was fishing on the outside of the grass in 1 ft. of water, cork 6".
