Thumbs up Bistineau instead of Honey Do's!

I had lot's of things that needed to be done today but I decided they can wait!:D Got on the water about 0830, fished the channel, edges of the channel and all points in between. I was picking them up here and there, mostly in 16-20' of water. Lots of people fishing the trees but I saw no action. About 2-3pm I found myself in 21' of water fishing 18' deep and I managed to catch all my netters there. They were some good ones. Lasted about an hour and they shut down . I was using jigs pumped up with nibbles. Best was on motor oil with black pepper, red/chart, pearl tube/pink head. There was no special preference but these did the best for me.
See you guys in 14 days, just keep me in some pics! :p

Steve, I don't blame you for hitting the water instead of things around the house. Looks like you made the right choice. Looks like you got into some good ones. Congrats on the catch and thanks for the post/pics.

BamaFan, I drove over to the state park one day a couple of years ago and saw how beautiful Bistineau was and promised myself that one day I would fish that lake. Now after seeing that picture I'm even more committed to do so. That is one nice catch.

Next time my wife asks me to do something for her around the house I am going to hook up the boat and head for the lake. lol that must be good luck!

Man Steve those were some hogs. Really plump too, guess them Bistineau crappies get enough to eat.

Did you measure or weight those 4 or 5 biggest ones in the pic? Look like some monsters!
