basinfisher right now the fish are in about 3' of water on the front bank along hwy. 182 there is a good size patch of cypress trees off the bank in this area. to either the left or right or even behind these trees there are alot of small bare trees or bushes that I call buck brush get in these brushes and fish all around them really good you can pick up a few at each pass sometimes you may get lucky and find a concentration of them in one area. but a word of advice is go very early and try to get what you can before all the boats show up cause even on week days at this time of year everyone goes to theses spots since this is the type spot for this lake as the chicken coop is for the toledobend lake. use a blue and white jig about 2' under a cork
or do as I do when fishing heavy cover is tight line so you can ease yor jig to the tip of your rod and manuver it into tight locations and getting out of a snag is a lot less quieter and easier without a cork and over there you may not have many places to move to with all the boats in this not very big area.
good luck and post your catch.
