    at the dinner table Saturday just adult hogs. South Verret Union Oil/Bayou Cherami area. Tight line hair jigs, color didn’t seem to matter. Bite only lasted a couple of hours and was slow between fish but most had to be netted. Released two (almost keepers) because they looked wimpy compared to these big guys but probably would have kept on most days. Will get some weights before I clean em.

    I thought the larger white might have been a hybrid but no, 6 spines and went 27.2 oz. Biggest black was 30.0. Very little in their stomach just what’s left of a few minnows and the females had some pretty good eggs developing. All fish were thick and healthy. Pan sauté tonight!!
