Well, it's not super hot, but kept 20 good ones and a handful of 10"ers. Water surface temp was down to 67.4°. Threw back over ten that weren't 10". Bite died off the later it got. I played with speed and depth a little but 75-80' of line at 1.5mph seemed to do best. I didn't have much time to move around, but the stretch between the dock and dam was the most productive. Lots of shad there. Bone w/orange belly did best, white w/black splatter back next best, a few on Pearl w/red eyes, nothing on pink or taco salad. Next time you go out, run that area. Seemed to catch most where it dropped off from 16' to 18' deep. Watch for brush piles. There's several there. If you find a bone crank, that's my gift to you. Lol. I hung a pile and couldn't get it loose. I'm sure it'll surface soon.
