Default Pics for the rest of you River Rats!

Went to Lock and Dam #4 at Coushatta (at the Red Oak Landing) today and ended up with 37. Caught the males in 3-7ft water and the females in 5-14ft of water. Caught males on one side of the boat and females on the other! Any color tube jig would work and they would not bite it under a cork. It had to be moving. Caught a goo that my scales said was 8lb 8oz, but he was longer than my 50qt icechest and I think weighed more. I weighed the biggest crappie twice and the first time it was 1lb 13oz and the second time was 2lb even and 15 1/2 inches long. I think my scales are acting up. They were for the most part real good fish with fast action.

Great catch Skipper. Congrats. I take it you were able to find the "new to you" launch this morning? Without that 10 mile boat ride you had more time to fish.
