I appologize for not posting in a while. Been very busy. New job, New Wife, New House you know the every day stuff. LOL OK
Here is the latest from around the house.
Tew Lake has been pretty off and on. Green Carp are doing good on bandit crank baits, bream are starting to bite on worms and beetle spins. Crappie being caught out from the bank about 4 foot deep on jigz. Not many though.
Bushley (between jonesville and harrisonburg) is doing better. My dad and his fishing partner caught 21 on 3/28. The ones they had were still eggy.
I caught 12 crappie and 4 bass out of bayou Louie (south of siciliy island) on 3/21. They were up aginst the bank. Used a blu/white tube with white curly tail.
Means lake at Harrisonburg has still not turned on. A few green carp being caught but as of 3/24 no crappie.
Wallace Lake, have not fished it nor talked with anyone who has.
Ouachita river has been good. Any of the small lakes (town lake and Rawson creek) has been productive with the same small blu/hite jog with white curly tail. Small kentucky (red eye green carp) hitting the bandit "splatter back" crank bait.
Long Lake across the bridge at Columbia was producing fish about two weeks ago; but on 3/20 my partner and I did not catch a one. I did catch some nice bream on beetle spin.
anyway that is the latest from around the house
:D
Heck of a report, sounds like you been doing more than hunny-do's. Thanks for the report.
You can't fish with a hung line!
