    Default Darbonne 3/5


    Took my "new to me" boat out for her maiden voyage yesterday and it was a goodun. Most of you already know I got rear ended a while back and flipped my old boat in the hwy, so I've been boatless for a while.

    The fish are moving in to spawn and the bite is on. Caught all fish about 1' deep in 2 to 4' of water on some of those "special" jigs. No minners or spiders harmed today.

    My new boat is a 2012 model 648ldv war eagle and 40 Etec.

    Looks like the D'Arbonne area got about 3" of rain and a tornado yesterday. Wonder if that's going to raise the lake level.

    I was wondering when u were gonna share. I saw ur post on Facebook last night. That was a heck of a day. I fished Saturday and didn’t do much at all. Glad u had a good trip.

    We live close enough to the dam to hear the siren when they open gates, and they opened them this morning.
