Default Misty day on the bone Bayou

Woke up at 5 this morning to go fishing and let the hounds out to see a misting rain/fog. Still anxious to go I turned on the coffee pot to fill my thermos for the day. Pour my coffee in my thermos and set it down and POP!!!! Coffee went every where. My thermos had fallen off counter night before so I recon it had a crack in the glass vacuum container. Aggravated, I made some more and filled my little yeti mug and out the door I went to meet my friend. Finally got to our spot to find the water still muddy and current moving through. Starting at the same places we had caught them before we started getting small bumps here and there in 20FOW 12 ft deep. Bump down went my rod snatched it up to find a drum on the other end. Kept fishing around to find the same thing nothing. With time running down cause I had a training class I had to go to we started trying different things. We pulled up to a shallower top in 6-10 FOW I pitched a jig in the middle of it and bump. Pulled a nice slab out about 5 ft deep. Started recreating that same bite to find fish in much shallower water than we anticipated considering the water temp. By the time we figured the fish out we had to leave but ended up with 10 perch and two trash fish I mean bass.

I live 10 miles from the Bone.. I was surprised when you said the water was muddy and had current where you fished. we had 1/4 inch or rain here and it has been foged in ever since.. wished I was in the boat sharing the thump

You got to keep them to keep them from over populating.
