I've had to cancel on the Larto gathering, so cabin #1 is now available. Sure hate to miss it! Y'all have fun!

As of now, who is going to attend? I plan to go along with my 2 sons and a friend. I have a camp in the area, so we won't be staying at Uncle Buds.

Can one of you give us a water temp & fishing report? Also were you able to launch at Uncle Bud's ramp?

Look at my other post on Larto gathering, further down. The fishing was tough, but we caught a few. Most people were catching in 2 - 3 fow, fishing 18" deep under a cork. My best color was a bobby garland Threadfin shad, but others were catching on blk/chrt with red flakes in the chrt. Water temp was between 47 & 49 degrees. Yes, the uncle buds launch is usable.

The drive to Bruce's was much better in the van than the boat and Bruce's big pot of hot soup really hit the spot on a cold day. Memories, some of them just don't go away.

Have a great time fellas I'll see y'all in the Spring.

I remember the wood being wet and also that fur hat of yours Mr. Gene, wish I had it today out here in West Texas.

That hat is long gone, it got ate up by my lab along with my duck call, the leather belt on my waders, and a box and a half of shot gun shell. I don't know why that dog did not die of explode. For a week her dropping had BB's in it with traces of my belt. Although I got overly cold it was a great time, one of my fondest memories.
