on Lac Des Allemands.
Conditions were perfect.
1)Water still up about a foot and moving out fast.
2)Lot's of gin clear water. Found some mixing.
3) Lite breeze and partly cloudy skies.
Drop my new Bulldog foot motor at 9am sharp. Bite was lite and fish were small. Hard to leave fish biting but knew I gotta make a change.
Moved a couple hundred yards and found the biguns. They were hanging tight on the reeds in two to three foot of water. Fish seem to move a foot or two deeper as the sun got up.
All feesh caught tight line 1/16minnow head with black n green n chart tube. Cut some lead off the head for a slower fall.
Love dem Gold Sacs form the Lac.

The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
Looks like I'm gonna have to find some time to make a trip over there. Too busy right now and another hurricane on the way, plus something in the Gulf where Harvey started. We need this to end.

Hard to leave a spot where they are biting well but if they are smaller WTG. seems hard to believe they were so shallow this time of year.
Beautiful box of fish
