    Default Darbonne Post Spawn


    The post spawn blues are getting better on the Bonne. It also appears there were great spawns the last couple years, because the lake is full of 8 to 10 inch fish. I have been fishing around 4 FD, in all depths of water over 5 FD. It doesnt seem any one color jig is better than the others as well, and Shiners as usual have caught the bigger fish for me lately. I had a double catch on both of my trips out, only got a picture of one as the other broke off because i didnt use the net. Big Dummy, didnt happen second time.

    Can't wait to get there!! Threw my friends for a loop when I said we was leaving at midnight! (I work night shift, and I'm driving). Never been on the lake but we're gonna be there for 4 days! Got a cabin at Henry's.

    When are you coming? I also work shift work, and work off this morning. I am going to get a quick nap and try and be on the lake before 2pm. at is thecurren plan anyway.
