Oh how I LOVE this place! Look forward to it opening up every year. Well I was off today so what better way to spend the day but fishing! Well I managed to make it back to a cut that I haven't fished since before Rita! Wasn't sure if I could make it there but with a lot of clearing the motor and push poling some, I made it! WINDY AS ALL GET OUT but I have learned how to manage the wind some. So with all that said here are the pictures. Caught 52 bream and goggle eye, 8 bass & 13 sac au lait. Caught all of the sac au lait and goggle eye and all but 2 of the bass on a combination of the hair jigs that Jlaughlin tied for me (blue/white & yellow/black and one that I tie Red/Orange and black). Caught good on Jlaughlin's jigs early and then they tore up my red/orange/black jig! Anyway here are the pictures.

I don't know about me peeing on myself, but definitely had several fish pee on me today! It was a BLAST except for the cleaning but they are all up in the freezer now.

Awesome catch Shadow. How is the Salvania this year? I was fishing that west side canal last year and it was horrible getting in there. Great catch.

The hydrilla is worst than the salvania where I was fishing in the front but last year in the back there was a lot of salvania. Haven't been to the back this year to see.
