    Default Saline Larto today

Fished the Saline Larto complex this afternoon but only caught 8 decent perch. All of them came from one 10' deep area on the south end of Saline Lake. Lot of people out and it was about evenly split between those fishing the channels and those on the bank. Didn't see a lot being caught anywhere. Water temp was 68. The Levee and Hunt roads were in excellent condition.

I'll take 8 keepers any day, but I figured it would be really good right now. Maybe the big rain messed em up because I was told they were biting prior to the rain. I'm heading to my camp there next weekend. Hope to get on em. Hopefully weather cooperates.

One guy told me that the perch had just started moving up on the bank. Did see one man up in the cypress trees catching quite a few but it looked like bream.

I did well in the cypress trees in 3-4 FOW a few weekends ago, but I have not been able to go back. All males then, but I would assume it's going to break loose at any time now.
