Default cooler full of slabs from Darbonne

That's what I'll be posting a week from now. Leaving Michigan Friday evening and driving straight through to Calhoun. Probably won't fish Saturday but starting Sunday, watch out. Plan on fishing the Bone but if the bite is slow we'll be lake hopping. Maybe we'll see some members on the water, we'll be in a Sylvan v bottom with a 30 merc on the back. As far as the cooler full, probably not, but we can hope, can't we.

Now that was a tease and a half. Hope you catch a bunch and if you see some good looking but slightly round guys in coveralls, tie on to their boat. disclaimer: no coveralls here, but lots of round.

Lord, watch over spartannation as he drives to Louisiana and bless him as he fishes here for a few days. Good luck spartannation. Maybe a day or two before you arrive someone will chime in and put you on some fish. Surely the crappie will bite for you in at least one of the lakes within driving distance.

I couldn't resist the old bait and switch. Thanks for the kind words, I sure look forward to these trips south. Catching a few crappie is just a bonus. Steve, old as you are , if you wait till I get it figured out before you tag along I'll need to get you one of those amigo chairs to ride around in. It could be a long wait. Maybe I'll plan next springs trip the week of the Darbonne gathering and we can meet the overall gang.

Says the guy who just had a birthday and is right on my heels regarding old.....

I mentioned what you posted to my wife when she came home for lunch, without hesitation she said "Go"!

So if the fine folks from Louisiana don't mind having a northern redneck at their camp, I'm your huckleberry!
