Nice catch
I'm sure this is old news to those in the know but Caddo has been pretty good for a couple weeks at least. Shad are back and so are the WP. What used to be good a few years ago, then became dead is now great again. Now I've told you,, AND shown you enough to know where to go. Fish 15-16 feet and use Pink/Chart, or Red Chart, or Minnows, or do like the Pros,,,,,BOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why waste time? If any old friends here still have my number call me for the rest. Happy Turkey day to all.....Don Stamper
Sorry, I don't check my PM's often.

is there any place to camp I have a camper on the back of my truck and would love to come up and fish all day Saturday and spend the night and fish Sunday morning before the trip home I don't need and power connections or water its all self contained so a nice remote place on the water would be prefect
I had a truck camper for years and managed to do the same thing but its not always easy. This is a public launch, its free, its out of site from most folks passing on the main road so I WOULD try it,,, however,,,,,,,,I usually leave my boat in the water sorta out of site, then if the law man comes at night knocking on your door, don't answer so they get the impression you're out night fishing. I don't know of a campground close by other than the Earl Williamson Park/Caddo Lake Park in Oil City about 10 miles north. But that costs money. https://www.facebook.com/Earl-G-Will...0384752032353/
Very nice catch
Where is the public ramp you talking about perched? I may try it out this weekend
