I guess I didn't wait it out long enough. I was on the water at day break. Fished till 1030 with only 2 sac a lait. I fished south, North Pelba and under the bridge. Was very slow.
Hadn't been to Henderson in awhile, so when a friend called to go, I was ready. We found bream biting in several places but no sac a lait until nearly midday. Fished for a couple hours then had to go, but managed to put eight keepers in the boat. That was Wed. Went back by myself Thurs., hit the same area again and sure enough some big sac a lait were still there. I kept 17 sac a lait and a bunch of bream. The water was really clear by Henderson standards so I fished with some really small 1/32 minnow looking jigs I made, fished about 2 feet deep under a cork worked…a good start to the summer. Anyway, the fish pictures will have to wait… my flash player is out of date??? and won't let me post pictures, will try later…BC
