    Default toledo bend smash down

How is everyone? I havent posted in a while, but Ive been in the shadows checking reports when I can. I was laid off back in November so its been a pretty hectic time... Anyways, Here are some pictures of a batchelor party fishing trip I went on for my cousin to Toledo Bend around September. We stayed at Green Acres Lodge and it was a really great time. We planned for 2 days of fishing and with as many people as we had we ended up going out with a guide on day 1. We decided to go with Dustin Meir with Fish on TB guide service and boy he did not disappoint. He is a down to earth guy, we had an absolute blast. Makes the trip that much better when the guide fits in with your group of best friends. You can tell he puts in the work year around to keep his customers happy, and I recommend him if you ever decide to take a guide out on the Bend.

Day 2 is when I caught the hammer Im holding in the second pic. Never did weigh him but its one of my personal best, caught him far away from where we fished with the guide. We didnt do as good as when we went out with the guide (day 2 we took our own boats out) but we still managed to put around 20 sacs in our boat and a few eating size catfish. I am itching to get back to Toledo Bend, as that was my first experience with it. I am hooked.
