    Looks like a hatch of some sort, but won't guess to what it is. Do shad spawn this early.

    Bruce look towards the edges of the light where it isn't so bright and you can see millions of little things in the water. I doubt that it's game fish because the males usually guard them near the nest in shallow water. But then a female crappie is supposed to be able to lay 10 to 30 thousand eggs. Talk about a baby sitting job.

    4 ft of water and there were some shadows of bigger fish around. It could have been large mouth or strip, I didn't try to fish for them
