    Had a rope break on me several years ago....always have a spare pull rope in boat now;-)

    I keep a spare my self and JR I started doing that 2 ropes ago. They do last longer, but the heat shrink rubs through eventually.

    Mine broke Saturday morning right after talking with southern shooter. I haven't fixed it yet and glad I saw this.
