I bet y'all had fun. It looks peaceful on the water. Making me wish I was there as well.
Today Linda and I braved the fog and went to the hunting lease. A good thing the canal is straight and only the Intracoastal crosses it. When I got to the Intracoastal I couldn't see the other side but the trusty old GPS put us right in it. Danny, that's the same canal we traveled in the fog to go Lake Decade with your friend when we went spec fishing. Anyway we were after a different kind of spec this morning a Sacalait spec and we caught a nice mess. Most we around 10 inches with the largest at 12 and a few at 9. All were caught on shiners fishing the outside of lily pads in about 4 foot of water. Beautiful day to be on the water. There was no wind until almost noon and then it was just a gentle breeze. We ended up with 20 fish which included 1 bass. They sure tasted good for supper tonight.
A couple of pictures to enjoy:
This was after an hour or so and the fog had started to lift.
The lily pads we caught the fish under.
My favorite fishing partner doing what she likes best.
Part of the catch, I had already started cleaning them when I remembered I didn't take the picture.

Every day is a holiday and every meal is a picnic.
Pretty blacks, as always, love the pictures. I got one of those new minnow containers to try, guess I need to put it in my boat and give them a try.
