    Default Saline Larto 10/9

Fished mid-day at Saline Larto. Caught 6 and lost 2 in about 30 minutes at the Buzzard Roost fishing 10' deep in 14 fow on a gray/chartreuse hair jig. No luck anywhere else, but it was a pretty day to be out. Did see 5 gators.

If there is any size to them, six should make a mess. Congratulations Tbone. Now, go stink up some grease. Thanks for the report. I was wondering if anything was happening at Larto.

Water temp was 80-81 degrees. Needs to cool down a little more. On the bright side, the levee and Hunt road was about the smoothest I've ever seen, although very dusty. Something else I noticed that troubles me. Some of the offshoots from Long Branch were completely blocked by hyacinths. I've never seen that before.
