    Default Bayou black on fire

Been fishing in paw paw genes favorite place (orange grove).had over 100 nice sacs in the last two days, plus countless bluegill/goggle eye ..water pouring out the marsh which is the key..all caught on jigs about 18in deep..will continue as long as the water falls..sorry for the blurry pic, it was late..and yes bobfish keeps fish lol..but most were let go...not exactly poverty point size, but fun anyhow..

Thanks for the update Bob. I've been taking care of some medical issues lately but should be back at it soon.

hookem you can access orange grove from cannons landing on bayou black dr hwy 182 in houma. thats minors canal that leads to the intracoastal ..turn right out of minors and the grove is the 5th canal on right..it has an oil structure at the entrance and its a long canal with a series of bayous off of it..just look for clear water and grass beds..the gills are usually in pockets on the inside of the grass and the sacs along the outside..good luck if ya go..

Linda and I made a short rain delayed trip to the Grove and then a rain shortened trip back in a hurry. We didn't do nowhere near what Master Bob did but we did catch an even dozen. That is more than enough for supper tonight and lunch tomorrow. After that we'll have to go catch some more.
