Thread: Saline

Went yesterday. Tried shallow //deep. Went to the lake . Had a good time but didn't catch anything with any size. Tried jigs and shiners. Water is up. We will give it try when i get back from offshore. Good luck

Were you at Saline Lake on the Larto/Saline complex? Since you are shown out of Cottonport I figured that was where you were at. I see there was a very slight fall recorded there on the USACE report, so maybe when it drops a little things will pick up down there. i hope it does, because it seems every year about spawn time something goes HAYWIRE at that place. Either you have NO WATER or TOO MUCH WATER? Thanks for reporting. ~~<*{{{{<<

You speak the truth. I fished Larto hard over the weekend and struggled to a catch fish. Saw a commercial hoop net fisherman and talked to him for awhile. He wasn't catching much either in the high water. I figure it needs to get around 40 ft to turn on.

Yes it was the saline /Larto complex. I went out of woodsons landing. That is a great place to fish . Just didn't get on the fish that day. But we'll get them next time. Good luck
