Water is near full pool. Haven't heard of any reports in the past couple of weeks. Curious about water temp mid lake. I'll be there for a week mid next month. Please let us know how you do. Thanks.

My buddy went Bass fishing yesterday and fished from 10:30 to 5:30 and caught 9 fish of which 4 were keepers. I think he was fishing on the south end. No crappie report though, sorry.

Went there 4 days ago and caught 12 in about an hour. We were all the way up buck creek drifting along the channel with shiners on jigheads suspended under a bobber. Could have caught a heck of a lot more if I didn't have my wife with me lol

Took my neighbor and his cousin bass fishing last week near Pirate's Cove and caught 2 sac au lait on a 5" suspending Rogue. One was a 14" long black and the other was the biggest I have ever caught - 17 1/4" long white and full of eggs. Both were at the edge of grass in 5'-6' of water. No camera and no scale. Put both back to spawn along with the bass we caught. We saw a lot of people fishing with corks on the outside edge of the brown grass, 3'-5', and some fishing further out in 8'-9' on the inside of the hydrilla. They should be all over the bank now but a little deeper than usual. The lake has risen a lot from the rain and the spillway gates are open discharging 35,000 cu ft/sec.

    Good luck.
