    Default Back To The Swampy Bayous


    Went looking for some early spawners and found 6 right in shallow under a cork. Felt good to get out after fishing like a zombie Saturday and having fever Sunday and Monday. Still not 100% but feel way better. Must have caught it from Bruce. I here you can get a virus over the internet. Don't have pics or egg reports since I gave them to a guy needing some for a fish fry.

    Where did you go? I am trying the Mermentau this weekend. I got a report they starting to catch shallow on the banks. If I dont do well Saturday I am going to try Lacassine Sunday.

    I went this afternoon for a couple of hours. I caught 2 and a goo. I missed a few too. I ran out of day light not long after I figured them out.

    Great! We hope to beat the rush for a smooth launch out of folks way. The water is so low we have to use the ramp. I'm expecting a gang with the nice day forcast.
