Thanks Prefers Shiners. I will keep a close eye on what others are saying. Hopefully this spring I will be able to get more luck, I only started trying to crappie fish over this past summer. I have managed to catch one!

Welcome to the forum! The biggest bream I have ever caught came out of Caddo. That's one pretty lake. Like the others have said, a fish finder will help a lot in finding structure.

Welcome to the forum.....Bass Pro in Bossier City has two weekends coming up with "CRAPPIE MADNESS" at the end of January and first week of Feb. No doubt you can get lots of pointers for free and the opportunity to meet other fishermen from your area....could be a big help to improving your chances.
ALWAYS DREAMING ABOUT FISH'N...AND PLEASE REMEMBER THAT "A LAD WHO FISHES WITH HIS DAD SELDOM TURNS OUT BAD".
Thanks Guys, I look forward to learning more and getting to know y'all. Hopefully someday we will cross paths on the water! I will check out the even at BPS.
