Default Water is finally rising in Henderson

After staying steady for over a month it looks like the recent rains are finally having an affect on the water in Henderson, nearly a foot in the last week. All you experienced Henderson guys, how much of an affect do you think it will have on the fishing?

Most folks are probably busy counting their Blessings, tied up with family and friends celebrating Christmas.....or, on the road.....shopping....

I have been fishing Henderson for 4 years and certainly do not consider myself "experienced" for that lake but this is what I think......it takes many years being on the water to learn patterns.....I have fished the lake with water levels of 7 ft to 16 ft and I don't find the water level has much effect on the fishing....I have caught fish at both extremes.....naturally, falling water usually produces more fish than rising water...everyone knows that....I think changing weather conditions affect them a lot more like the barometer bouncing up and down....fronts passing one after another.....etc.....

Hope your day gets better.....Merry Christmas....

I don't know how many "experienced Henderson guys" are on here. But I know a few will help with a PM.

IMO you can catch more sacs with honey than vinegar.
