    Default Black Lake 10-20-2014

Went back to Black Lake this morning and started about 7 am and fished til 10 am. Kept 39 and threw some back. About 12 were big blue gills and the rest were crappie. Makes 140 in last 5 trips down there. They fixin to turn on looks like. Water temp was 64 at 7am and 71 at 10am when they got lock jaw. I had more than I really want to clean tho. Anyway here is a couple pics. 3-4 ft deep , 9 fow, gray ghost.

LOL! That's what I was thinking too....This is pretty 'ON' in my book, but I'm a slow reader sometimes.

Homercrappie I caught them all on channel edge around the bridge and Island below the bridge. 9 fow about 3 - 4 feet deep.

Dapet from Alex take hwy 71 north to Campti, turn right on hwy 9 across bridge and your there. Put in on either side of bridge , motor out to channel and start catching. Be sure to bring some gray ghost!!!!!
