Got my new Engel
Bought an Engel Bait Cooler/Aerator from Cabela's. Can't wait to try it out Friday. It's 19 quarts or 4.75 gallons. They have 3 sizes. I bought the middle size. I got tired of shiner's dying on me.

I bought 100 shiners today. not going till friday. I wanna test this thing out. haha It was too noisy to have in the same room at work. Had to put it in the kitchen. so....it's not too quiet indoors for sure. I'll let you guys know how it is on the water. I have the water chilled to 58 degrees. I use an aquarium pump from Wally World and a power inverter in the boat to run it. Use the pump that came with it when I have to, only downfall I have found with them. I have the 30 and use it at weigh-ins as well.

This time of the year you stand the risk of killing them quick when they hit 90 degree water. I keep mine in the mid 50's at night then let the water warm slowly when fishing to the mid 70's to 80's.

Went Friday and used all my shiners. Caught about 10 sacalait but threw 'em all back. They were all medium size. Garfish are insane. Hooked so many it wasn't funny.
My Engel worked great. The aerator isn't very quiet, but better then indoors.
