Thread: Toledo Bend gathering - last weekend of February 2015

After a discussion with Danny, we're going to do something different this year. An auction/raffle for a good cause. Saturday evening. I'll let Danny present his thoughts. He's also organizing a side trip for those non-fishing folks that are coming. Thanks for your help Danny - great ideas.

Dwayne (shadow) will again organize the big fish tourney (I assume) again this year. The pot should be nice since we rolled over last year's into this one.

The way it's looking so far, the spawn may be upon us while we're there - my favorite time on Toledo Bend.

Wanted to add to Randy's note. There is a nice antique shop and a flea market on the Texas side of the lake about 20 minutes from San Miguel park. I would need to have several people volunteer transportation to help carry anyone who wants to go on Saturday afternoon. I'm thinking leave the pavilion at 1:30 and be back for 4:00. My wife and I can carry about 6 or 7 in our cars. Just thinking this would be a nice side trip for the non fishermen.

Donna surprised me the other night and told me she would like to come with me to Toledo Bend. She would love to go to the antique shops. Put me down for able to carry 3 others besides Donna and myself.

I've been to the flea market and it has a littel of everything!

Danny, Ann will have the truck on Saturday to help tote people if necessary. As in the past, the folks that ride with me in the boat help by using their truck to launch my boat (I assume that's okay G). She plans on going with you guys and is looking forward to it. She knows what I like.

could somebody point me in the direction of the Henderson Gathering i've never been and i'm sure trying to make it up that way. Sounds like a Great way to
meet the Gang make some new Friends. I've got a GPS so all i need is the info to put in to the GPS and i'll be on my way.
