Thread: Toledo Bend

ok everyone headed to the bend this Thursday. wife and kids in tow. any advice and suggestions. staying in Zwolle area. looking for sacs and green trout. any help greatly appreciated.

From everything I have heard it's different over on your side than my side of the lake. I have been finding them in 8' of water, but I hear over there is on the back of the creeks and maybe even in 4' of water. So I can't be of much help and I have not been doing as well as I usually do. Think the cold weather has them a bit strange and also the last few days they have been letting water out so the lake has been going up and down. I am thinking that has them more confused than anything else. One day we are at 169.8 and then 170.2, then 169.9 and then next it's 170.08? Now I don't have the same numbers as they show in history, but what they put in history is not always what it was on the day they took the measurement so it seems they always change the number they show on some days.
