    A private Oxbow which Is why I did not post a report. Would be pretty worthless since I may never get to go back. The biggest 5 were the 5 biggest crappie I've ever seen. We caught one black in this mess of whites, and that black, while the smallest of the 15 we caught, would have been the biggest of most of my lifetime trips. I have never seen gobs of fat in a fish like these had.

    That's a hoss pmantle. Hard to judge by pic but it's got to be at least 2.75, probably more though

    You can get scales pretty cheap on ebay. I bought some luggage scales for $5 that give weight in 4 or 5 different readouts and are accurate in line with a set of scales I already had.
