Aloha 20, I did not see many fish that big in Hawaii. Except for the 40 or 50 whales we saw. lol They do look impressive. Got as close as 75 yards or so. Man I can't wait to get back to TB.

Danny you're too late for the Bend. All the big bass have been caught. Seem like they are weighting one 10 pounder every day according to the Louisiana Sportsman. That has got to be fun.

PawPaw, About 125 or so 10 lb bass are caught each year at TB. That includes Tx and La side. Figure 186000 surface acres, hundreds of tournaments yearly, 50 million casts at least and in spite of what Randy thinks, it is not that easy to luck up and catch a 10 lb plus bass. I have been trying, and am getting closer, but don't know if I have enough years left. The odds are the same as winning the lottery.

Well just got to thinkin about it this mornin.. Its been a while since any entries...looks like 20Watt is in the lead with 3.08. Little over a month left!

With a fish like Jimmy had, don't see any entries coming in soon. Come July 1st, we start new. Big fun for me to watch it all happen. Such a prestigious and honorable award to hold. I am jealous.
