    Boy I'd like to make another trip but I'm putting the boat in the shop to fix some chipped fiberglass this week. Hope to get it out before the weekend.

    ON another subject, are there any places to stay overnight near Henderson. A 2 1/2 drive after a day on the water is a little much.

    There are camp grounds in Bute Larose and Hotels in Breaux Bridge but thats all I know around there.

    Well we had 31 sacaulait, 25 bream, chinks and goggle eye and 2 bass. We caught a few of the black stripe sacaulait I think its only on Black Crappie I don't ever remember catching a White with the stripe. I did catch a bass with it one time in the marsh though.

    Stay overnight in Lafayette,they have a selection of hotels ...and the FOOD is to die for..IE ...Prejeans.....North on 49 exit 2 go right 1st left 1 mile on right.....do you come through port allen??

    Man those crappie look fine. I have always been fascinated with the coloring of a chinquipen. Those bream look like they've got a sun burn. I've got to take a road trip

    You can stay at Pat's in Henderson. Small hotel next to the resteraunt, called the Edgewater Inn. Rates pretty low, new and clean!
