    Talking black bayou


    i am going to black bayou for the first time this evening if anyone has any info on what the bass n bream are biten the best on i would shore appreciate it !!!hookem-n-cookem!!!!!! hook bender

    Where is the black bayou you are asking about? There is one by my house but I doubt if that is the same one you are talking about.

    There's a Black Bayou over here between Vivian and HWY 71 near the Ark. line. Is that the one...I've always wanted to fish it..it looks good.

    I may be wrong, but hook bender must know of another Black Bayou closer to Caldwell Parish, which is over half the distance across LA to Caddo Parish. Quite a drive to fish that far, this late. Could he mean Black Lake??

    Default Monroe's Black Bayou

    Just north of Monroe on Highway 165. Great lake but has a moss problem in some areas. You can catch huge bream. Private citzen did have it until the state acquired it.

    Hey Jim......thanks for the info on another "Black Bayou/Lake." I think there's four so far, we're gonna have to number them so we will know which one our members are fishing!! :D

    Statewide in La. just how many bodies of water are named Black Bayou or Black Lake. lol.. I bet a bunch. :D

    There is one near natchitoches also.I just moved here about 3-1/2 years ago from natchitoches.There also is a place called saline which runs into black lake.
