    Smile D'Bone 12-17-11


    Fished D'bone this afternoon for about 5hrs.; the bite was slow. Kept 22; a few good fish, no real slabs, mostly just keepers. Caught a lot of small fish and bar fish. I didn't see or talk to anyone that did very good.

    Caught a fish; laid one rod down and didn't realize it was hung. To make a long story short I BROKE IT banghead.

    Chuter, I will try to fish some the first of the week if the weather lets me,. Will U keep me posted on what they are doing. Jig color, and water depth. I made up some bottom fishing rigs with bell sinkers to fish just off the bottom. Last year this rig worked well for me. by the way if U see me and my little Blue and White Tidecraft stop me and i just might let U try some of my homemade and home painted jig heads. I need a pro to test them for me like U. Merry Christmas to U and Yours

    I cleaned the ones I caught yesterday and there was 21 not 22. The smallest was about 10" and the biggiest was about 14".

    If I get to go next week I'll pm you Boone1.

    Chuter U said the bite was slow and caught 21, 21 is a good day for me. I can catch Bass pretty good, but these Crappie have still got puzzled a bit. I am getting a little better at it, but got a long way to go
