What's Up With D'Arbonne
Went to D'Arbonne this morning and launched at the dam. The fact I was the only one there at 8:30 should have told me something. I fished the Bear Creek channel and D'Arbonne channel on the lower end of the lake. Fished 12-21' deep in the channel and on the side of the channel with a variety of jigs but DID NOT get one single bite. What's up with that? Also did not see a soul fishing on the lower end of the lake. I've been hearing good things about Dbone lately.

i went under the 33 bridge wednesday night. caught about 55 but all but one were barfish. got one good perch almost 16 inches. depth finder showed fish at 19-21ft but couldn't get anything past the barfish at about 12ft. nothing worth keeping but we had a blast. started tight lining shiners but they quit them around 8 and couldnt get a bite. switched to jigs and they were hot and heavy again.
