    Default Sad day for PawPaw "gene"


    Today my Mother pasted away at the age of 93. We all knew her time was short, but the call from my brother this morning still left me in shock. I was walking out of the house to go visit her when he called. Now she rest in eternal peace.

    As some of you have noticed, I haven't been too active in the sport of fishing lately. Well she was one of the reason, I didn't have the passion for fishing I usually have with her lying in bed not hardly knowing what was going on around her. Once I pass this grieving stage, perhaps I can get back into fishing with a good heart. She will be missed that's for sure, but her clocked has stopped and I can accept that, it will just take a little time to get myself together.

    Sorry to hear that but NOW SHE IS YOUNG AND IN GREAT SHAPE WITHOUT PAIN WITH HER LOVED ONES WHO HAVE PASSED ON, AND THE ANGELS AND GOD. KEEP STRONG AND WE WILL PRAY FOR YOU.

    I have complete understanding, PPG. I lost my Mom two months ago. Even at age 90 and with us expecting that her time was about up, it was tough.
    My sympathy is with you, Linda, and your family, but the memory you all have of her will be with you forever. And that's one of God's greatest blessings.
    If I may, the following was one of Mom's favorites. Think about it.

    Into my heart's treasury I slipped a coil
    That time cannot take nor a thief purlion.
    Better than a minting of a gold-crowned king
    Is a safe-kept memory of a lovely thing.

    And I'm sure your Mom was as lovely to you as mine was to me.
