Default Zoom Tiny Fluke for Crappie?

I overheard someone talking about using zoom tiny flukes to catch crappie. Has anyone used them or know how to fish these little things.

never seen the tiny version, used the larger ones for bass before just like worms
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I read an article about a Toledo Bend guide using them on a 1/16 oz head.He claims he catches better quality with them than with shiners.

That sounds like something that i might have to try! I bought some the other day at academy. They are 3 inches long and feel much softer than any other plastic crappie bait, that should equal to lots of lure action.

I've tried them with no luck, but what else is new.

Yes I have em. I got them at the Honey Hole in Monroe. Back left in the store. I really like them. I caught a few at the Bend about 6 weeks ago and 4 or 5 at Darbonne on a trip about a month ago. I like to use them on a long shank 1/32 oz jig head under a heavier split shot up the line a bit. The slower the fall the better. I really like "swimming" this jig around deep structure along the channel edge at Darbonne. I talked to a guy at the Bend that likes to use em on roadrunners and flipping it out 15 ft or so and swimming it slowly down using lite rr's. Sounds like fun. I have the shad lookalike and it really does but a tad more slender. When that water cools and the WP get more active, I think this may be the "hot bait" this fall/winter at Darbonne. I really looks good to me but most WP jigs do. This one's a keeper. This bait will be tied on one or two of my Crappie Getter's this fall. Give em a try. SLIP

Yup started using them on size 1 or size 2 EWG not 1/0 or 2/0 for bass for the bass 3 years and done well on it.
I do use them for scaliat, but can't figure out hook size and the small scaliat short strike it.
Caught bass up to 4 1/2 lbs on that tiny fluke arkansas shad size 1 hook on a carolina rig.
The movement is almost as good as a live shad and don't have to move it that much.
I bought the Fins S in arkansas shad at Academy in Beaumont when they didn't have tiny fluke in arkansas shad.
If you caught fish all the time it would be catching and not fishing.

Never tried them, didn't even know they had them. I only heard of the fluke's and the super fluke's. Might have to check them out.
