    Default Cypress 3/19

arrived at daylite and the wind was howlin' and the water rollin', where was that 5 mph joe haynes forecast. it was darn cold too.
headed to the shallows close to the reeds where I caughten tue but the cool snap moved em out. started pickin up fish in 6-8 fow 3-5 ft under a cork. they didn't want anything to do with the jig n shinner I'd used tue [red head, chart curlytail]. wanted just shinner ona hook. water was 58° at 7:30 but warmed up to 64° by mid afternoon. never caught a fish close to the bank all day. caught 26 with several 14 inchers, never caught a dink! mostly females. yall fish slow, they didn't want any jackin' on the cork .
    no picts, batts died.

    good fishin'
