    Default Catch and release update

my post on catch and release was never intended to do more than to just get people thinking that maybe its more than just natural cycles, nets etc, that have depleted our fisheries...maybe it is about pressure from fisherman..i totally realize that every fishery is different. all i was advocating was to give back to the fishery that has given you so many great experiences..

Bob your point was well taken and with merit. As you said all fisheries are different and need to be addressed as such. The gobberment (wildlife & fisheries) can't do it all for us, we need to be attentive to our own needs, wants and situation, and with the thought being that the resource is not only for us personally but for all of us collectively. Thanks for bringing up the point, it is great food for thought.

I really don't worry about limits, I worry about having to clean to many fish. When my wife and I have 12 to 15 fish I am ready to go. Leave some for the other folks, I never have been a numbers guy. Louisiana has a very bad rap for killing or catching everything and not worrying about tomorrow.
