Sacalait Steve and TEE'S trip
Well it has been a very long while since I posted or even fished at the black bear pit . But me and Tee made the dicision to go this morning and we caught 21 impressive sacalait and one nice bull bream. we caught them all on one stump out in about 7 feet of water fishing about 3 feet deep and using black and chartruess tube jigs. I tried to post a pic but having problems

Sounds like a nice trip SS. Glad yall got a chance to go fishin'. We have noticed alot of good action lately on black and chartruses up our way aswell. Don't you just love it when they are all holding in an area the size of a bath tub? I wonder what that looks like down below. I saw a movie of some Rock Bass holding on structure and they were thick as thieves...

Yea I always wonder what they look like below also . I have thought of getting one of those under water cameras but I bet i'd spend most of time just looking instead of fishing. I wanted to go back today since I'm on vacation but one fall back to this pit is that you have to pull over about 75 yrds through wooded area and it's too much for one person. If I can round up a friend for saturday I may go again.

Guys,
I went over to SS's house last night and saw the picture of those fish.
They are some nice ones. Then I cried when he asked me if I could go with him today and I had to say no I was too busy.
Good going SS. Maybe next week.
I can't leave now; They fixen to turn on.

That movie clip was awesome. Finding a spot like that filled with crappie would be sweet.
