    Default Vacation Suggestions?

My wife and I are looking for a place to have a little weekend get-away. We are wanting a little 1 bedroom cabin close to a lake. It would be great if it was fairly private without a hundred people running around outside.

The biggest problem in my search is, it needs to be pet friendly. I've found a lot of places that are nice and even reasonably priced, but we can't take our dogs, which are our kids.

Anywhere basically in KY or Northern TN. We live in Ohio Co, KY (Beaver Dam area) and we are willing to travel a few hours either way.

    Any suggestions appreciated .
If you are a veteran or active military, THANK YOU.

How nice are you wanting? I don't know of any of the truly upscale places that allow pets.

Check with these guys. They are in the Paris Landing area. I don't know anything about them other than being associated with one of my coworkers so I can't speak as to how luxurious the accomodations are.

I has been several years ago but we took our dogs to "King Creek" resort on Ky Lake. Nothing fancy but clean and we had a good time. It is in the area of Camp Currie (fish/wildlife conservation camp) you may have gone there as a kid. Big Bear Creek area. I live over in Muhlenberg county if you want to call for more info. send me a PM for my cell. It has been several years so I don't know if the pet policy has changed.
