Good job. Nice mess of fish
Finally got into some big ol gooduns on the home waters. Had some boat trouble right at the initial shove off…a few stiff whacks with some channel locks to the starter a short time later and we were off and rolling. Caught my fish single poling around cover anywhere for 6-18 feet deep, 1/16-1/8 oz jigs black/chartreuse and orange/gold. Released many sub legal fish, although most where between 9-10. Water was muddy and 58 degrees when I left around 3:00, super nice day to be on the water. I talked to a few fisherman today and results are spotty at best, seems to be picking up. I’d say this next weeks warm up will have fish surging to the bank for the annual ritual.

Healthy looking fish! I spent the day doing some greasing and yearly maintenance items on the boat. Last time I was out I broke the steering unit collar on my Terrova in 50 ft water at T-Ville. Replaced it soon after but schedule and weather just haven’t cooperated. Getting oil and lower unit gear oil changed tomorrow. After that game on!
Good luck out there
