Default Will Walleye hit Bandit 300’s?

I was just wondering if anybody here has had walleye hit bandits while trolling? I have caught saugeye while trolling for crappie at Taylorsville with them and was wondering if I took my trolling rods to Green if there was a way to target walleye with them since they are in there.

Yes, walleye will hit bandit 300's I have caught them over the years trolling for crappie but as far as targeting walleye I have not tried. At green most everybody is pretty tight lipped when it comes to walleye.

I can understand that. I knew they make certain crank-baits for walleyes but wasn’t sure if they would hit bandits like the saugeye. Always heard they were good eating.

They are the best eating fish there is to me. I am not being tight lipped about caught them i just don't know. I can catch them on Cumberland most of the time but green I have never been able to figure them out but at same time I have not put much time into trying either...

Slabeye and I were just talking about this last night.

I've caught Walleye at Green, but it was an accident. I was casting a Road Runner down a sandy, pea gravel bank, for spawning Crappie (MANY years ago).
I've caught Walleye at Cumberland, actually trying to catch them (and/or Bass) casting cranks around flooded brush next to the bank. (again, MANY years ago)
I've caught two Saugeye at Taylorsville .... one dink & one keeper (both released) ... but they were caught on jigs while casting for Crappie.

    Here's the dink :

Have caught many over the years, usually February thru March. I use the old model A bomber in white. Get in channel somewhere around the cut thru at goat island and work up to pikes ridge, zig zagging across that channel. Just not sure about this time of year.

Never caught one on a Bandit but caught many on Hot-n-Tots. First time I ever used one was at Pelee Island on Canadian side of Lake Erie. We go for smallmouth but will troll for walleye while snacking or having lunch. Never caught more fish with any other lure.

I've used them at Taylorsville for hybrids but not tried since the saugeye were introduced. Caught a lot of hybrids and bet it would be great on Lake Cumberland for big stripers.
