Sounds like a great week to me
This week has not been a great week for me with all the rain and wind. Tuesday I fished green for the first time since April. Seen Mr. Norfleet at the ramp so he went with me. The bite wasn't the best at all for us. Kept down sizing jigs until we found one they would hit. Ended up being the mini deuces wild in sunshine. Fished in 15 to 30 fow of water and hit several different piles. Ended up with 26 keepers.
Wednesday went to Cumberland the bite wasn't terrible for Cumberland. But the wind was pretty bad to fish in shallower water and holding the boat. About everything caught was in 10 fow. Again mini deuces wild was the best in sunshine. Had 24 keepers...
Today went to Cumberland not the smartest thing with all the rain and wind but better than working...Anyway only had 15 keepers. Started out fishing 5 to 10 foot of water but wasn't to many fish so we went to 20 fow fishing spots I found a few years ago when the lake was way down. Got some pretty good fish not no pigs. This time hot rods worked the best in blackberry pie color. But at least we wasn't the only idiots out there in the rain. Seen more crappie today than we normally do in 2 days...
