How does the tail action compare to the trusty slider, about the same, harder thump,? Does the tail wiggle at slower speeds?

I don't know how the tail action of a slider is. The tail will wiggle at 1 mph but in my opinion faster is better...I only troll them so as far as a thump I can't say but you will get a good pole bend when they bite. Thanks for asking...

It is "different" .... being as it's a bigger bait, overall, than the Slider ... it's going to push more water & therefore have a "harder thump" (if I'm understanding your reference to "thump" as the side to side movement of the tail). It won't, however, have the same ease of tail movement as the smaller/thinner Slider at slow speeds, but it will wiggle at slow speeds.
