Against my better judgment, we went crappie fishing today. We got a later start than I would've liked. We didn't get on the water till about 8:30. I spider rigged minnows in 15-20 ft of water, about 10 ft down.

The only thing that made the waves bearable was the way it made my wife giggle like a school girl as we rode out 3' swells, multiple times.😘

CRAZY doesn't begin to describe how crowded it got. We called it quits at Noon after using my last minnow. We loaded up with 3 keepers weeded out of about 40 dinks. Many fish were 9 1/2".

The third biggest fish to come into my boat from Tville was caught on our last spot. Made a good end to the day!

I looked at the radar when I got home and a nice shower was moving right over the lake. I told Sissy that it was a shame all those skiers had to get wet! She just rolled those hazel eyes and said, "Daddy, you're silly!"
